Rice Flour Ham & Cheese Buns (Easy): This bread has rice flour in it, to make the buns a little chewier and moisture. Although it is "rice flour buns," it does contain bread flour as well. This bread is one of our "cut-up" recipes, which is we cut and bake whenever we want to eat. It's great for beginners and quick lunch on a busy day! This bread is a Fuss-Free bread, meaning very quick and easy to make, compare to as if we bake this in traditional way. 2 mins of kneading time + overnight dough proofing + bake whenever you want. Milk Cream Bread(Easy/Medium): One of my favorite bread in Japan is milk cream bread. Every time I visit there, I have this bread as much as I can for breakfast, because we don't have this bread in the US. Something similar is maybe sold at Japanese bakeries. This bread is a Fuss-Free bread, meaning very quick and easy to make, compare to as if we bake this in traditional way. 2 mins of kneading time + overnight dough proofing + bake whenever you want. January lesson menu is now available! 1. Pizza (Easy): This class is only available to those of you who took Focaccia class, because you will prepare the dough prior to the class. In class, we will bake a pizza for lunch together! If you are interested but haven't took Focaccia class, please let me know. 2. Melon Stick Bread (Medium): This class was very popular back in October, so it is back for just 1 day in January! It is a bread in sticks with sugar cookie on top. 3. Condensed Milk Buns (Easy): This bread is actually part of the "cut-up" bun recipes. "Cut-up" buns are designed to be quick, because we basically cut and bake without shaping. December lesson menu is now available! Due to holiday season, this month will be a short month :) 1. Milk Stick Bread (Easy): This is a great bread to learn for entry level! We will learn how to knead a bread dough (like for 2 mins) and see how bread yeast works. 2. Cinnamon Sticks (Medium): Do you like that cinnamon scent during holiday season? Here is a great choice of bread to learn! A fuss-free type of recipe, and we will enjoy shaping this bread. November lesson menu is now available! From going forward, I will note the difficulty level so that you can determine if the level is right for you. 1. Dodeka Focaccia (Easy): This is the BEST recipe for entry level and people who prefer not to knead a dough at all. You will learn the basics of how yeast works! (A popular recipe) 2. Chocolate Stick Bread (Easy/Medium): This is a bread in sticks for easy to eat, with chocolate chips everywhere! This recipe is great start for practicing how to knead a bread and understanding how dough rise works. 3. Anpan using frying pan (Medium/Difficult): This is a Japanese traditional buns filled with sweet red bean paste. We will use a frying pan instead of oven to cook. Please see PDF file above for the monthly schedule. ALL the bread are FUSS-FREE type of baking this month. Up to 3 students in each class. Halloween lesson will be 2 recipes, 2 days lessons. Duration is about 30 mins for the first day and 40 mins for the second day. Please reserve your spot for both days. You will notice you wouldn't need to make a payment for the second day reservation. Kids are going back to school! Some of you may be a parent, and you are thinking about what to pack for their lunch. These bread I'll be teaching in September is great options for you.
Due to COVID, I am having ONLINE classes only. Each class will be maximum of 3 students. Online Live Lesson:
*Please make payment online when you reserve a spot. *If you can’t make it to the class for any reason, please let me know 24 hours prior to the class. We will arrange for another date. ❦ How online lesson works: *After reservation is made, I will send you ingredient details within 48 hours. The actual recipe will be sent to you on the day before your lesson. *During the lesson, we will make the dough together. Typically, we will use the refrigerator for rising, therefore, shaping and baking will be my demonstration. *On the next day, whenever you have time, you will do the shaping and baking. This is optional, but send me a picture of your final product via e-mail or text message (614-270-6887). It will definitely help me with providing you feedback.
